I am still dealing with a loss of my boyfriend, and does anyone have any suggestions on how to make through the day at work without creaking down and crying? I'm struggling and can't be crying at work, any suggestions?

He passed away a year ago, and they just had the funeral for him this past weekend.

The intensity will dissipate in time. You will have to go thru the grieving process. When you begin to dwell on the unhappy thought reorient yourself by telling yourself where you are what you are doing etc... This should help for the moment. You may find yourself doing this alot during work periods. Alter your daily routine , increase your workouts even if it is walking. PURGE your home of all sentimental memorabilia. I am advising you of this on the premise that you had a break up and not a death. In which case you will want to keep a momento or two.

Distract yourself with other activities you did not even think of doing when you were dating him. Make goals and reach them, men are a dime a dozen, we have what they want and that is that!
