my G.F.'s irresponsible son just called to see if I would loan him my Takimine Accoustic guitar to let some homeless guy he drug home play it. I said Hell No! what would you have done

he thinks because he arranged for me to buy the guitar from some friend of his, that he should have access to it. I told him I got it because I had the cash to buy it, and now it belongs to me.it's not his. is that mean of me?

i should clarify, that he lives in his own(sort of, he always borrows money for rent) apartment. that is where he drags these people to. I think he knows better than to try and bring them here. He thinks he is doing good by feeding and showering these people, and wont listin when we warm him about what "could" happen.

i think the more serious question here is why is this kid dragging home homeless people? that isn't good----it smells of big trouble brewing.

as far as your possessions go---only loan out the things you don't want. because a lot of times you won't ever see them again.

I would only lend out something like that to an immediate relative and certainly only an adult.

Only loan out objects that you don't want back because chances are, you won't see it again.
