though saddam a dictator, he ruthlessly suppressed islamic terrorism and arrested its growth in his country.after invasion of that country by the usa al qaeda could spread its activities through out iraq and made it a breeding ground for religious terrorists.do you agree with me invasion of iraq a blunder done by the usa?as it did not find any weapons and the cia admitted that saddam had no links with al qaeda and 9/11. i appeal to all americans to denounce the act of your government which gave birth to religious terrorists like osama bin ladden.

Watch you'll have some nutcase conservative say "we need to stay the course" or else Iraq will be turned into a safe haven for terrorists. THEY CAN HAVE IT. If Iraq is being used as a terrorist state (which never would have happened under Saddam) then at least we know were they're at.

Hell we could bomb the hell out of Iraq and kill thousands of so called terrorists in one swoop. Besides every military expert has said terrorists already have a safe haven for terrorism, it's called Pakistan. Pakistan is a haven for terrorism, the same Pakistan that Bush has cut deals with.

Osama bin Laden was around long before we invaded Iraq. I think Saddam needed his clock cleaned, but I sure don't think we need to turn Iraq into Disneyland middle east. If we invaded every middle eastern country that harbored terrorists we'd never have peace again. And all our troubles in Iraq haven't brought us any closer to getting bin Laden. I think the Iraqis need to take care of there own dirty laundry.

all peace loving people of the world denounce the act of the USA invading Iraq a secular country without valid reasons and made that country a breeding ground for terrorists which had no place in Saddam's Iraq. the USA and its allies wanted to change the regime in Iraq. but the irony is regimes in Italy, Spain changed and UK follows and the USA will also see a change in its regime as per the opinion polls conducted recently. this means most of the Americans who are peace loving people did not endorse the policy of their government in Iraq as bush's statement that Saddam had links with AL qaeda was debunked by the CIA itself.

I not often hear all people making use of the term Anglo-Saxon anymore in this u . s . a ., yet in any case i became an Arabic linguist interior the army for 6 years, my own opinion is the muslims i've got met, my instructors and persons I interacted with interior the middle East, are not for the main section Jihadists or Islamofascists or despite the hot buzzword is. even nevertheless i think of that's stupid to immigrate to Europe or the U. S., get excitement from the end results of those societies (alongside with freedom of speech and faith), and then curse them to hell for his or her immoralities, i think of it occurs much less then you think of. so a strategies as McVeigh is going he became pushed by ability of a strategies-appropriate/racist ideology and had greater to do with "christian ideals" (not probable christian, yet in his ideas) then he had to do with Islam or Al Qaeda. P.S. i'm black and that i don't plan on changing to Islam or starting to be a member of Al-Qaeda.

I'm not sure of the specifics, but on the major sentiment, yes. Invading Iraq was a mistake and could have been seen as such before the fact, had some real thinking been done. Even If it was a workable enterprise, we didn't do it right.

No, i do not agree with you because alQa'eda was already
in Iraq and Sad-dam insane was giving $25,000 to the
suicide bombers to go blow up Citizens of Israel.
The American Government did not give birth to the SOB,
Osama bin Laden.

I agree. We never finished the job in Afhanistan before we moved into Iraq. AQ was not in Iraq until AFTER we invaded. Funny how that worked didn't it?

Hmmm let's see we are waging a war on terror so it's a bad thing that we attract a bunch of terrorists to some place OUTSIDE the U.S. so that we can capture, kill, and interrogate them? Who's side are YOU on?

No, not a hot bed for al qaeda, but a hot bed for anyone who's fed up with United States being over there furthering their own intrests.
