Would it even matter WHY he's in jail? A parent who is locked up for ANY reason, shows little responsibility in my opinion. It is NOT difficult to live within the limits of the law. If this is out of concern for visitation rights, I'd say there's a case on your behalf, regardless of his reason for being there in the first place! Court filings are typically public records. If you happen to know which county he's in, you can simply visit the local courthouse and ask them to assist you with looking up the public record. Good luck!

YOU MAY WANT TO TRY YOUR COUNTIES WEB SITE .I TYPED IN THE COUNTY WHERE I LIVE AND THEY HAVE INMATE LISTING .IT TELLS YOU WHEN THEY WERE BOOKED WHEN THEY WILL BE RELEASED AND WHAT CHARGES THEY HAVE AND BOND ETC.OFCOURSE THIER PIC YOU CAN TRY IT IT DOSENT HURT TO TRY IT OUT .HOPE IT HELPS
