I think she's disgraceful and irresponsible. Anyway it's only natural and she's in the wrong for invading your privacy. If you allow her to blackmail you like this what else will she make you do??The more ammunition you give her the more she'll be able to blackmail you with it and so forth and so forth. Stand your ground because it may come to a head anyway in the future and she'll have all the more to show your friends. This is only one thing which if they're honest they all do anyway. You may get some stick for a while but at least it'll die a quick death. You'd be better finding your own place, get some help/ advice from Housing Welfare.
