Oh yes I know that feeling only too well, not just the boyfriend either probably, I have been in the supermarket and feel inner rage with anybody who gets in my way and I don't care what they think about me, which certainly is not my personality. I have no answer to this, but there are drugs that doctors can now prescribe to help, and I also understand some contraceptive pills can help, but I am not big on taking any drug full stop. The only thing I can suggest which has helped me a little is your own psychological help and realising it when it arrives and try not succumb to your outrage and emotions - very very difficult. But please explain to your boyfriend what this is and it is actually a medical condition, my partner now realises and says 'oh god that time again' he walks away from the situation. If you find this magical cure please post it on Answers..Good luck

This I think everyone can relate too. It makes me feel so bad cause every little thing that is said, I snap, get mad, start crying, it just pisses me off. I don't think there is a straight out cure for PMS, but whenever I start feeling cranky, I isolate myself of take a warm bubble bath, or eat chocolate. And if your boyfriend loves you, he will not dump you, just know that it is part of womanhood. I also excercise and that sort of takes some of the aggression away. Good Luck Hun!

If it is so severe that it is effecting your everyday life, then you need to see your doctor. There have been some new drugs introduced recently that help with severe PMS symptoms. What you might have isn't PMS but PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder).
There are also homeopathic alternatives you could try. The company I recommend is Hylands. I've also read that increasing your regular intake of dairy (milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, especially) helps to alleviate symptoms as well.

Tell him to bring chocolate! It always use to work for my husband when I was getting atacked by the PMT/S monster! If nothing else you'll be kind to him for a few minutes or unable to snap at him because you'll be too busy tucking in!
Chocolate buttons always did it for me ;)
