I am 21 years old and my family constantly pressures me to date. I am only interested in dating women older than me and they want me to date someone my age...when I don't want to. I told them I'll just stay single if I can't have an older woman. Why do people feel the need to pressure me to date someone?

Are you still living at home with your parents at 21? If you are your parents wants you out of the house just like that movie failure to launch! Maybe they want you to be happy with someone, and they want you to meet new friends?

Just tell your family that you are an adult and you are fully capable of making your own decisions, and that you dont' expect them to always agree with you on every decision, but to at least respect your decisions for what they are worth. And if they can't do that then you have to wonder how much they really care about you, if they are being self serving. After all, what are they getting out you dating? Think about it. What kind of satisfaction could they possibly get, other than the possibility of grandchindren.

tell your family you'll never ever marry or date women in your age and u know what they don't wont u to date woman older than u bcoz they afried on u and must be not in your's family habits and customs so talk to them easily and step by step and may god they listen to u .

It's you that has to live with the decision in what ever you decide not them...
Until they live your life pay your bills or whatever....
The Choice is yours not theirs...

whether right or wrong...
