i forgot , old hondas are usually more worn out than almost any other car make , young drivers tend to push them to their limits

Honda keeps its resale value ALOT better than any mistibishi... Also my mechanic (who I live with) has seen hondas go for 300,000+ miles. Go with honda.

I would choose the Honda. The 3000GT is a nice car, but assuming the average driver drives 12,000 miles per year, the 3000GT is nearly 4 years worth (nearly 48,000) more miles on it.
One note about the Honda though: be sure the radiator is okay. Honda's are known to have radiator issues when they get older. Be sure the temperature gauge doesn't ride up too high (anything ihigher than halfway between C and H).

Go with the Honda Prelude - it has a really great power to weight ratio and will last longer. I once test drove a Prelude with over 200k miles and it still ran really well. Mitsubishi isn't really known for its reliabilty. The 3000 GT comes in a number of models, some stronger than others - but I would have to assume that the 3000 GT is on its last legs.
Both have a good aftermarket so if you want to customize either and boost power with some bolt on mods you will have plenty of options.

If you can handle the gas, then take the 3000 GT.
If you think the GT is in good shape, definitely choose that over the Prelude.
It looks better and performs better. At 148,000 miles, I don't think anyone can doubt the quality and reliability.
On the other hand, if you get the Prelude, you might come home with buyers remorse asking yourself, should I have chosen the faster, better looking car?

Your better off with the Prelude. The 3000GT wait a ton unless you modify it. You'll save gas on the Prelude, it is cool and you make it even more awesome, andyou'll be going in style and modify it to your taste.

More problems with the Itchypussy 3000 over time. The Honda if its running good will last much longer. I don't think the 3000's were that cool until later and another drawback is how they attract the police. Trying to keep your foot out of those is much harder than you think so factor in the speeding tickets in your decision.

well i go for the honda because it save more gase and easy to fix......and has good mileage....the 3000GT is cool but the mileage sucks so yeah just get what you want best for your need....a car that save gas and good mileage or a car that has a 3000GT name and the car is hard to fix and eat alot of your gas.....up to you brother....well yeah hope you pick your needs....good luck....

Honda is a better choice for quality. The Mitsu is cooler but you will have more problems.

I would go with the Prelude since it has less miles on it and it's not such a gas guzzler.

I suggest the Honda- 3000GT's are laden with electronics, and are prone to electronic failure.
