Its when short men are loud and obnoxious and you hate being around them. It's sometimes called the Napoleonic complex

Tall guys are just considered superior, they don't have to do a thing, just 'be tall'. Look at all the tall guys in positions of authority.
You can't blame short guys for going overboard in trying to prove they also have the right stuff. But they are often obnoxious and over aggressive in this effort.

I call it "little man syndrome" & it is a 'bitterness' stemming from having (the proverbial) sand kicked in ones face by "big guys" earlier in life.

Its when little guys try to act like they are so tough. I had this supervisor one time that looked like one of the keebler elves but he walked around like he thought he was he-man. He would even leave his shirt unbuttoned so people could see that he had hair on his chest it was fun to watch this guy.
