My father was born on 9/11, should he not celebrate his birthday?
You didn't attack the U.S. you got married, celebrate your anniversary, celebrate your love, celebrate the fact that you're able to be with the one you love, and some aren't, that you're still married and have the one you love beside you.

And, if people ask what you're celebrating, tell them, you're celebrating your anniversary, your love, your life, and your liberty.

My husbands grandmother was born on 9/11 and last year she celebrated by having the whole family come over and eat supper with her. She wouldn't let anyone eat till we all prayed about the 9/11 attacks.

I don't think anyone "celebrates" 9/11. I think we hold memorial services and try to remember those who gave their lives on that horrible day!! That your marriage collapsed on that day was unfortunate, but I am sure there was no cause and effect. Therefore, it was pure coincidence.

Chow!!

It was simply just that...a coincidence. Don't let it affect u and u don't need to justify to people the reasons u are celebrating it.

I understand what you are saying but you didn't do it. Celebrate your life and don't worry!
