Is it ok if they are buckled in securely and are able to sit unassisted?

They need to be able to sit totally unassisted and be able hold themselves up when you go around corners and such. They also need to be able to balance themselves if you have to stop quickly for some reason. You never know when someone is going to walk right out in front of you.

I wouln't untill they are able to sit up securely by themselves. Mostly because if they slouch or lean forward, then most times, their mouth is gonna end up on the bar, and that is disgusting!!

The minute you have them, what better way to keep your eyes directly on them at all times.
