Has anyone else noticed that in a forum that is supposed to be dedicated to Questions&Answers there such a large number of people that would rather crucify someone for a typo or spelling mistake than actually read and answer the question? Why is that?

For one thing, most of the so-called questions are actually political statements, made in the form of a question.
Secondly, it is hard to take a person seriously, if he cannot communicate in plain English.
Thirdly, finding errors in grammar show that people are reading the questions.

It's easier than answering a tough question in some cases. In other cases people are so damned stupid you just feel obligated to point it out.

People are jerks sometimes.

I got a violation notice and the person could not be bothered to explain why it was a violation.

they put "Other" and no additional details.

absolutly between libs cons, aithiests, and catholics, you will get sniped if you make a simple damn typo, I didnt think this was english class

i agree. libs tend to do that WAY to much. its their secret way of not answering it.
