No political party, at least not the Democrats and Republicans, represent their voters at all. The two major political parties are too busy being slaves to their real constituents, the special interest groups and corporate sponsors, that donate to the national party committees to worry about taking care of voters.

Only a fraction of the registered voters, vote. Of the ones who vote 65 to 75 percent (perhaps higher) vote along party lines and never waiver. That leaves a small percentage of swing votes to fight for, or to ignore. Because some people will never change their minds no matter what and will continue to vote for their party. So the swing voters, the independents, can be ignored if you use smear campaigns to slander your opponent and try to get the swing vote not by having a more compelling platform or more impressive record, but by having the voter chose you as the lesser of two evils.

That's right! The democrats and republicans don't want to do anything to make you vote for them... they want you to vote for them because they don't suck as much as the other guy.

Neither the democratic or republic parties are represented accurately in the media. Only the far left democrats are represented and only the far right republicans are represented. The vast majority of Americans that are more centrist, whether democrat or republican do not contribute to making good sensational stories.

They lack ideals, which their voters have, to do something to protect the rights of the consumer against big business. And their voters have better ideas than just saying that the other side is bad. They would win a lot of votes from the majority, the non-voters, if they would grow a spine. They are trying, but it's still too soft and squishy.

Absolutely not...
Most democratic voters are recipients of some kind of government benefits, jobs, support , welfare etc. etc...
Traded by Liberal Democratic Politicians for votes...
This alone is solely responsible for the destruction of the black culture, family and tradition in the United States..

It can not truly represent them, enough of them voted not once but twice for President Bush to get him elected. There is not 50% Republicans & those who want to say he stole election forget we took House & Senate too! There are conservative Democrats, I have several friends who are. They are not on here but in the "real" world there are Democrats that voted twice for President Bush - not like media wants us to believe.
