The age-old tactic: If you don't like the question, change it.

To paraphrase Newt Gingrich, why defend when you can attack? ;)

Beats me. Anybody who would lump Bush together with Clinton and Kennedy (Jack, not necessarily Bobby - I liked Bobby) can't know what the hey they're talking about. They must not like our President because he's not as incompetent as their guys were. So they decide they hate him for that and they don't really even want to be fair enough to analyze whether he's done well or not with the issues he's had to deal with and what he's had (or not had) on his side to work with. The next election's coming soon, they'll get a new chance then to vote for who they want. But people, "red" or "blue", should at least be fair enough to judge the respective other side on the merits or demerits of what they've done given the hands of cards they've been dealt or inherited. Few people really think independently enough to do this - which is kind of symptomatic of the problem you've got with the question you raise. It's too bad.

Here goes, I will try to explain it to you. The repuglicans are the more mentally diminished of the population. They can not think for themselves so they have to repeat what they hear on faux news, faux news is still talking about things in history this week so that is the answers that you get. Once is a great while they will get real creative and repeat what Rush Limbaugh said. You can tell these answer by they are repeated over and over as Rush don't say much new everyday. He finds what works and repeats it. I hope this cleared it up for you.

I dont know, maybe your asking wrong,I support him,but thats my right.most people are hitting you with the morals of the individuals who were in office, and though i think some were inappropiate, everybodys human.my opinions i use in the political arena are not only based on the moral issues, but facts.past and present on why leaders are doing what they do.I would suggest a more political approach. to a question about a leader and engage it in a non bashing manner(thats probably how others are seeing it

Because the conservative Republicans don't have any real answers and can't defend their beloved president. They feel they have to put down someone else to make them look better. It's the way the Republican party works. Instill fear and hatred and hope the gullible voting public buys it.
