Why answer so negatively? Geez, it's just a question. Relax. Some people get on here and think so damn high and mighty. It's annoying. Stfu.

Not really. Chavez is like the North Korean President, Kim Jung-il.., delusional in expecting an invasion, working his own people up over a threat that does not exist.
The only way we would attack Venezuela is if Chavez does something pretty hefty to provoke a war.

No,because Chavez is almost giving oil away and feeding his poor people with the revenue. If Americans caught on to this war on poverty Americans might want government owned oil companies. Chavez hangs out with Castro but North Korea or China is a bigger communist threat.

Because Chavez is a SOCIALIST. As far as I know, he does not fit the definition of Communism. Communism is where everybody works for the government. Chavez is not doing that.
But, Republicans HATE government control of business, and that is what Chavez is doing. So, Bush hates him.
I think Hugo is doing RIGHT by his people. Which is what the greedy power-mongers HATE.

Well, Venezuela does have a lot of oil....
The communism thing is overrated. After all, we trade heavily with China. We haven't tried a second invasion of Cuba, despite their communist government.
I hadn't heard that Bush wants a war with Chavez, although it's been quite clear that he doesn't like Chavez & would like to see him out of power. But he wouldn't order an invasion of a country just because he doesn't like its leader.....wait a second... :P
