Yes I agree entirely.
I recently read a biography on Ronald Reagan. In it they mentioned the fact that the former Soviet Union actually financed top members of the 60s peace movement.
Michael Savage wrote a book entitled "The Enemy Within" addressing your same theory. Im not a huge supporter of Savage but he has a viable point. His theory is that liberalism is the biggest threat to America.
I havent been on Yahoo Q&A for very long but I am seeing that Savage is more right than I thought he was. I was not aware that there are so many of our OWN people that have a goal of destroying the American way of life.
Im not talking about the average Joe Democrat. I can agree to disagree with those folks. My issue is with the left wing commies that want to embrace every opposition of America. It seems more people on here hate Bush MORE than they hate the fanatics that we are at war with. I dont get it.

If the opinions of officials from the Soviet Union are so effective, then why does the U.S. still exist & the U.S.S.R. not? :P
The "environmental movement" is not a bunch of brainwashed people. Thousands of scientists, working independently, have come to this simple conclusion: pollution = not good. Is that too complex for you?
Seriously, the concept of "loyal opposition" is older than the United States. When someone disagrees with the way things are currently being done by our government and our elected officials, it is not simply caused by "brainwashing" or foreign powers trying to use American citizens against the rest of the nation. Having a loyal opposition does not "bring down the U.S.": rather, it makes our democracy and our nation stronger.
Don't like it when someone disagrees with your worldview? There are nations elsewhere that believe in censorship, ones that believe all dissenting opinions are a threat to the nation. Perhaps you should consider living there. :P

I don't get your point. The environment is in much worse shape than most people believe, and that's scientific fact, not propaganda. Do you have kids? Tell them this: "I don't care what the world is like when you grow up, I'm not going to do anything to save it. And I don't care if the whole world is destroyed by war so long as we win."
As we used to say when I was a kid, "I'm all right, Jack." with my head buried in the sand.
And to Joey: Have you ever heard of England? They've had the same political system since several hundred years before America was discovered. It's called Constitutional Monarchy. You know, there was a world before the USA!

From inside is probably the most effective method in terms of strategy. It could be done in such a way that hardly anyone in America even had a clue about the 'silent revolution' and the implementation of the 'New World Order' what's all this about Gun control, and the war on terror?, how come the terrorists who caused 9/11 were 'let in' and let off to some degree, its a conspiracy!!!!!!!!! Time will tell. God Bless America.

I don't think there is anything that could anytime soon. Understand this, There is a larger force of highly trained, well armed prior servicemen in this country than there is currently active. I am a former special forces Marine and there is a brotherhood that is as dedicated to this country as any active service member. Do not think for one second that we will be over run by another country. They would have one hell of a fight on there hands and it would make all other conflicts look like a tag football game.

The sure-fire garanteed way to bring down virtually any government is to make their economy go belly up. Just look at what we did to Russia in the Cold War...they wanted to keep up with us in the space race and in military hardware...they eventually went broke and are now coming to the US for asistance.

Economic crisis, we depend too much on cold hard cash, we've forgotten ethics, and don't rely on God, so the only thing that could crush the government would be an economic drought, we're already billions of dollars in debt, and it will happen, when we can't pay for our imports, and we get shut off from other countries, we're screwed as well.

Yes, I am 100% for it.
The only way the United State will fall apart is from within. From a few people who don't really care about the situation or condition of the United State but would drain all the resources of the United State to benefit thier own little country.
There are a few groups going at it, but one of them is at the top of the game right now.

Has it occured to anyone that the USA has the longest standing political system in the world? Over 200 years, and still going! OK, America has its problems within its borders; so what? What group of people which live within a defined border and has its own political sytem doesn't have problems?
The communists, the terrorist, and various others have tried and/or continue to try to bring us down for their own misguided and hateful reasons; the USA is still here!
Sorry, chump... we're NOT going to be brought down!
GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

Sun Tsu said that the best warfare is internal and political warfare. What is going to ruin this country is the watering down of the white population, liberal social programs, socialism, Muslims, the loss of Christianity, Mexicans taking what we all work hard for, oil dependance without drilling our own sources, inner city populations that won't contribute, universal healthcare, destruction of family values, gay marriage, abortions(30 million since 1972), wars, fringe groups, etc.
