Yes, they've garnered the support of the irrational, hateful, and totally insensitive contingent that has basically gone blind with arrogance. Plus they suck up to book sales and ratings, proving once again that you can never go broke catering to the lowest-common denominator. Even some of my conservative friends have apologized for nutcases like Coulter and Limbaugh. They wish there were more folks like Wiliam F. Buckley or Ben Stein, who can effectively convey their points without demeaning rants.

Yes. It's all part of Carl Rove's genius.
The Republican base is actually less than 30% of the population.
But add to that the low-brow misogynistic, racist rabble that your subjects entertain and lead and another 15% is gained. This group actually votes against it's own interest in order to prevent any other group from getting government services. This is not enough, though, because this group under-votes.
Add the fanatical fundamentalist Christians voting for Schiavo's right to vegetate and another 10% is picked up...and this group WILL vote if their church tells them to - in greater numbers than any other sector, magnifying their importance.
Voila - a majority from a minority.

Oh, you made up a name. How cute. Rush Limbaugh has a listening audience of maybe 20 million people a day. And 12 noon to 3 pm is not exactly prime radio listening time. People work.
Sean Hannity has the number two radio talk show in the country. He is rolling in money.
Ann Coulter is a top book writer. All of her books make the best sellers lists within weeks after they are released.
A lot of my fellow Americans hold these people in high regard. I do.
What have you done, lately, that is of benefit to the USA? My guess is "nothing."
These people are not trying to divide anything or anyone. Because of your bad grammar, it is hard to tell if you mean dividing the people of the US or dividing the land.

Obviously.... so people should stop listening to these wackos.

Ones who still like to listen to them like the nation divided. Sad. They should listen to more than one type of news source(one for Conservatives, one for Liberals, etc.) and listen to every side.

Naturally, they are the Bush elite attack dogs--attacking others who don't share their xenophobic fears of the world, or those who aren't loyal to the Bush cabal.

That may be the effect of what they're doing, but I'm sure that their intention, universally, is to make money. That, and nothing more.
