The first legislation should once again be to allow more US oil drilling in the US to lower oil prices. The danmcrates seem to like to keep the supply low and they vote against more oil. They always roll over and play dead and will not overthrow the Republican Houses.

Dude, you're living in a dream world. The Democrats are going to take control of both the House and the Senate and get this country straightened out and headed in the right direction. The first thing they should do is to take care of a major problem at home: aid to the Katrina victims. The second is to set a timetable to bring the troops home from Bush's War in Iraq.

SOMEONE needs to have the guts to control the border. The House Republicans were pretty good on this - I hope the house stays Republican.
I suppose it would be worse than it is now if the senate went to the Democrats, but with McCain, Graham, Hegel, etc. it would be hard to tell the difference.

They should stop being intimidated by the Liberal dominated media and do what's right for the country. I believe that anybody that is aiding and abetting terrorists should be tried for treason. This includes lawyers defending terrorists that are not US citizens or who have declared war on us.This isn't tiddly winks. This is war. We need to stop acting as if it's a civil matter. These people declared war on us. So we must act as if it is war and stop coddling them.

Imprison all dissenters, nonchristians, gays etc. and declare the establishment of the Fourth Reich. (it's sarcasm for the thick people out there).
As for immigration, how could the republicans be any good at this, when they control congress right now and can't or won't agree on, propose, much less pass any legislation on this?

They should fight the libs to loosen restrictions on oil drilling in N America. I think Daisy Cutters and Bunker Busters should do the trick.
