Of course they are. There is no free market when it comes to oil. The government knows this and supports the oil companies. Especially the GOP has gotten the drift since a long time and caters to the needs of the oil industry. The war against Iraq and the Iraqi people is a war for oil. The case for WMD's was so weak that it was laughable. WMD's never existed, and the story was quickly changed to:"We want to bring democracy to Iraq."
Yea right. All we brought to Iraq was terrorism. Although that wasn't our intention. Our intention was the oil, and proof for that is that as soon as U.S. troops went into Baghdad they secured the oil ministry. Yep... first things first.
The terrorism that has been created by us in Iraq was caused by the greed for oil. Our country just couldn't leave the second largest oil reserves in the world to the Iraqis. We had to get our grubby fingers on it.
So yes... the oil companies are directly responsible for terrorism.

No, the price is controlled by auction on the New York Commodities Exchange. It is impossible for oil companies to control the prices set there. OPEC can be considered terrorists since they control the amount of output to under supply the world and this raises prices due to lack of supply. As well as democrats who limit the US' oil exploration. They are the biggest whiners and hypocrites, due to ignorance and are our domestic terrorists. Terrorist bombings of the oil pipelines in iraq(so what else is new?) also causes shortages. This is the basics to any discussion about oil and gasoline prices, when known would render this question as useless.

Well, in that case, don't support "terrorism." Don't buy gas for your car and don't drive anywhere. Don't take public transportation, either. Get rid of your clothes, because they were transported on trucks that use fossil fuels.
If you're not walking around nekkid right now, you're a hypocrite.
