Liberals have no guts, and they have no backbone. The only reason their head isn't 2 inches above their waist is because of the shirts they wear.

I am not Liberal. I am a social democrat. I am also a Canadian. The two main problems with the Communist Manifesto (http://www.anu.edu.au/polsci/marx/classics/manifesto.html ) are: 1) it's somewhat dated in language and 2) true democracy has not yet progressed far enough for its principles to be implemented.

I'm not a liberal. Liberals are firmly in the conservative corner where I come from. So I'll admit to being a socialist, and by American standards I am certainly a socialist extremist. I think Marx had bright ideas, that were so poorly executed it's an excuse to ignore it and let capitalism ruin it all.

Oh I will love reading the answers to this one .
Well.I a liberal.I own my own business.I support the Minute Men and closed borders,I carry a weapon with a concealed permit,I don't believe in welfare or government hand outs.I'm pro choice but don't believe abortion should be used as delayed birth control.No amnesty,English as the US language.I'm pro military but against an uncalled for war.And I know Bush lies.So whats a girl to do?
I will vote for the person that bests suits my own ideas and hope to change the rest later.I will not vote for any party that advocates amnesty to illegals from anywhere.
And we all know that Socialism and Communism don't work well in practical application.

I've have not read The Communist Manifesto, but indeed there are many great ideas given by communism.
I've read very little about Marx but The Manifesto is in my must buy list...

Communism in the sense that thier is equality is NOT necissarily a bad idea. The problem is that there is no way to keep the greed of the people running things in check, so it NEVER seems to work.
