why do you think the energy crisis is caused by Republicans? The price of gasoline rose during the Carter administration in the 70's... during that time would you say Democrats were happy to see the high prices? On top of that you lump all Republicans into one group and assume they all have the ability to change the current gas price situation. I happen to be a registered Republican, but I don't personally have any power to make the gas prices any lower. And I don't go blaming it on one group of people or another because that's unfair and just plain stupid. Maybe if the two parties in our country could stop blaming every little problem on each other and actually work together towards a solution things would be alot better for all of us!

This has nothing to do with Republicans. Have you not noticed the price has raised all over the world? Hey, you can get lunch for under a dollar. You also pay considerably less in taxes thanks to Republicans. So where do YOU want to pay at? Capitalism and economy are a staple.

This is an economic issue not political. Sept 1999 Goldman Sak's reported the posibility of a "super spike" in the price of crude oil.

GOP does not control the price of gas!!!!!!!!!!

You probably should have asked this question when gas was actually going up. As it is the national average has fallen significantly for several weeks in a row.

Al Gore would be. In fact, in his book, he mentioned raising gas to that price (by taxing it) to spur changes in peoples' use of petroleum products.

Don't know why you have chosen to worry about how we feel about gas prices. Are you 'stuck on stupid' or something?
