If guns are allowed in our society shouldn't the homeless be allowed to own them and form a militia? They would get respect as Mao said "power comes from the barrel of a gun".

They are allowed to own them, however they would need to have a permit to carry them outdoors (or they could just keep them unloaded if in CA). The idea of bums hunting pigeons in local parks sounds like a good one to me.

Since when can't homeless people own a gun? I must have missed the section of the Constitution that says they can't...Also, fear and intimidation are very different from respect. And as we all know Mao was right. That's why he is being removed from China's textbooks...

Who said they are not allowed to own them? You just can't purchase with out an address. I have not yet seen the gun police seizing arms from the homeless, only from law abiding hard working persons.

Yikes. I mean, I dont like guns at all. They should be locked up if you own them and homeless people cant lock um up.. so no. They shouldnt be allowed to.
