Conservatives hate free speech for one simple reason. From free speech, truth can come out. If there is one thing that conservatives fear and hate more than anything else, it's the truth! They seem to be completely incapable of telling full truth...they may say one or two sentences that are technically true, but always trying to use it to support a lie.

It's not a hate of free speech, it's a want for people to stay in their lane. You don't ask a politician to sing, do you? No, so I don't want to hear the political opinion of a singer who has no knowledge of the subject. The same way I don't want to hear all the ranting of Hollywood morons who don't know what they're talking about.

How can you say that after the uproar over the 9-11 film on ABC?
I think anyone has the right to boycott something they don't agree with such as the Dixie Chicks latest CD or the film on ABC.

I, for one, don't really care about celebrities' points of view on anything except for the entertainment industry that they are in. I haven't seen the documentary that you refer to, but it sounds like I'm not the only one that isn't interested. Sure, they can voice their opinion all they want, but that doesn't mean anyone has to agree. If I pay for a concert ticket, then I want to hear music, not political banter from someone who just doesn't know any better.

I don't think conservatives hate free speech. I think intelligent people hate free speech, some of the crap that comes out is scarey!

I do not have to listen to you and I have the freedom to refuse to support anything you do, and if you work for me, I have the right to fire you without telling you why.. I don't know ask the people trying to censor the "path to 9/11" they seem to want to limit free speech as well.

Last time I looked we don't, unlike the liberals on college campus' that have attacked pro-life folks, destroyed whole issues of campus papers etc.
