I lose a lot of sleep wondering how to feed all the orphans created by wars started by greedy conservatives. Due to higher expenses (including fuel and food costs) and lower income from grants and donations we have had to cut programs here in my own home town. I have no morals of which to speak. Feeding the hungry, giving safe haven to orphans, educating the poor are not a matter of morality but rather an issue of humanity; our duty. Thanks to conservatives generating so many impoverished orphans who will most likely breed future criminals and terrorists, we liberals have quite a challenge ahead of us. If only I had the backbone to shut down the Conservative War Machine. If you would like to make a donation to the boys home let me know,
otherwise, Shut Your Pie Hole!
or is that against your morals?
And no, I do not like life this way, at all.

As I have stated in the past Liberals ended slavery. got the vote for women, got us out of the depression, and kept the civil rights movement going. I would call that morals and backbone. Martin Luthor King, a noted liberal, said "someone with nothing to die for has nothing to live for." I would call that both backbone and morally strong. I would like to know what you consider to be morals or back bone. Contact me through my 360 and tell me. I assure you, a direct response will be forthcoming. Peace.

So called liberals and their conservative counterparts are surprisingly similar on many an issue without the glaring differences presented in the early, original parties during the infacy of this nation. Jefferson and Hamilton were truly divergent in there political and philosophical views thus the birth of political parties in our government...

Um...I have morals and a backbone. I am a social liberal. I loose no sleep and life is great except for all of the judgemental, neo cons trying to rid our great country of civil liberties and turn it into a hypocritical theocracy, one in which you DON'T actually turn the other cheek!
In addition, I wish conservatives were forced to live within 200 yards of the industrial facilities which they deem unnecessary to regulate for pollution, then talk to me about sleeping well at night.

Dude, if liberals are losing a little sleep over having no morals or backbone, then conservatives must never sleep at all.
And for the record, I hate liberal/conservative bashing.

So it's moral to invade a country that had nothing to do with Osama and kill thousands of innocents? Dropping cluster bombs in crowded neighborhoods sending red-hot shrapnel through the faces of children is acceptable to you? Spreading depleted uranium around the globe is a good thing? No I don't lose sleep over opposing the BS you seem to support.

Liberals have very high morals and standards. Liberals' morals are just different than conservatives' religiously-based morals.
Liberals have higher moral standards, in my opinion, and stand for the true meaning of freedom and don't just talk about freedom like conservatives do.

How is it that Bush does not loose sleep over the innocent Americans and Iraqi’s who die everyday because of his incompetence and failures in Afghanistan and Iraq?
How do conservatives who are so afraid of the terrorists that they gladly give up their civil liberties and rights as American citizens in order to feel safe sleep at night? Aren’t they embarrassed at being too weak to defend or take care of themselves and their families? Why are they afraid to live without the government watching over them every second?
Real Americans don’t need or want the government to protect them – on an airplane or anywhere else. No Repub-Chickenhawks are allowed in my foxhole, go cower in fear with Bush and Cheney.

Maybe today is not the day for such things. Perhaps for today and just for today we should all stop trying to bash each others political views and take a day to remember something. I don't know if anyone on here will take this to heart but, it's just a thought and a suggestion. So, if you feel like some things are more important, no matter which side of the political field you throw yourself on, please, just take today off from what typically happens on this site.
