I retired early, age 39 and moved to the beach. I decided that life was just too short and to let go of the desire for material things in exchange for enjoying everyday of my life... doing anything I want to do.

9/11 is no more than whats been happening in other countries. Its over blown here in the US of A. It just shows that the USA is part of the common world and not on that pedestal it thought it was on. Just a wake up call. People live like this all the time in other countries. Think of the Iraq's witch had nothing to do with 9/11 they are losing their lives by the thousands because of the USA. So no I have not done anything to make my life better not until we apologize to the Iraq's and pull out. Our fight was in Afghanistan not Iraq.

Yeah i've taken steps to improve my life since 9/11. But not because of 9/11. 9/11 was a horrible tragedy, not some kind of spiritual awakening. I refuse to lets terrorist actions dictate how I live my life. I'm just not that scared of terrorists or dying.

Nothing in my life has changed drastically. But I did not need shock treatment to improve my life. Some do because they forget. Not I. Anyways I was kind of preoccupied five years ago. My last daughter was premature and born on the 12th. I think it had to do with the stress of the situation. She was fine and had no life threatening problems. She was just under weight; she weighed 3lbs. 12 oz.

i brought my own lunch to work today without eating something greasy and nasty from a fast food joint..............
though in the bigger picture i had to explain to my 15 yr old last night how important that day is in the history of our lives. and talkin to a blue eyed blonde about politics and ethical issues can be an exhausting experience.
it was a day that changes the events of human history from here on out.
though i do agree with her on all of the televised rememberances, there are too many and in some cases just fluff to get ratings.

I haven't made many changes. I was in 10th grade when it happened and I understood it, but didn't let it get to me that much. People were crazy to think that the US is invincible! We have our marvelous gov't and Bush to thank for 9/11. Off the subject, it happened so close to my birthday (9/13) that there is this shadow of sadness close to my special day. I don't let it affect ME, but the nation is in mourning and I'm soooo happy! It makes me feel weird very briefly, but I have a right to be happy on my day.

At first it brought all of us together, we were all Americans, didn't matter what part of the world we were from, but sadly at the end the same people payed for the terrorists mistakes. I think that 99% of the people forgot the promises that they made on the following days and went back to same old them. I will never forget it bcs it happened on my wedding day, we could not get married bcs we didn't feel like celebrating when so many people were dying, till this day I Pray for everyone of us, and specially for the people that died on that day and their families.

I worked and tried to enjoy it.
I feel ashamed of the liberals who have sent in more 9/11 conspiracy theory jokes.
I feel grief for the families who died on 9/11.

Some of these liberal jokers are now saying that 9/11 never happened. Shame on them.

I have learned to never take one moment for granted - ever. I tell my children and my husband that I love them every single time I have the chance. At church, I hug people, at the store, I smile and speak. You never know when that very thing may happen to you, or to a loved one. Time is so very precious. I've learned that making the most of the time you've got is the only way to go for me...

I have learned to question this countrys government about everything. I am less trusting of the news and every lying word that comes out of any politicians lying mouth. I am disgusted with how easily Americans are led by their fear.
