Republitards bash their own.

Patrick Sammon, executive vice president of the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay GOP group, said it's important to the future of the Republican Party that politicians like Koering can find support.

"If the Republicans want to be a lasting majority party in America, they can't just shut out gays and lesbians," Sammon said.

If the Republicans are shutting out the gays, how do you explain the very existence of the LCR? Republicans don't care what you and your same sex partner does. However, they are against same sex marriage, because marriage is a biblical union between one man and one woman. Koering was the only Republican in the Senate to join Democrats in opposing an effort to force a floor vote on a constitutional gay marriage ban. He will find out in the primary election whether or not he made the right choice.

Must Republicans stand for what they believe is right. (Right as opposed to wrong not left) If others disagree, we don't care if they claim to be Republicans, Democrats, or other.
