What is it with you neocons and John Kerry? He lost the 2004 election and he's not going to run again. What possible reason could you have to feel threatened by him? Could it be that you recognize that Bush is a failure and the only way you can console yourselves is to try to convince yourselves that Kerry would have been worse? Sorry, but that just isn't possible. There never has been and there never will be a worse president than GWB.

Gay marriage is a form of freedom that democrats stand for and that republicans can only talk about.

Liberals don't really act on what they believe is right or wrong, They say what they think will get them into power. It has been backfiring on them the last several years, so now Hillary the carpet muncher is NOW oppossed to gay marriage. They go with the polls and keep their fingers crossed. If a liberal ever got a backbone they might actually win.

It's called a platform, and they weren't very adament at all. Their platform was for civil unions, which is not marriage. They were making a big deal out of it in order to get votes.
