Because there are alot of things that were done by Clinton that are well known but the general public has not bothered to find out. The U.S. knew Bin Laden and his bunch were a threat but Clinton didnt trust the American people to understand what it took to stop it.
That would have been unpopular and Clinton was too tied to the polls to be an effective leader when we needed protection. If we had stopped Bin Laden when we had him in our sights, 9/11 would have been averted.
After 9/11 did happen we had a president who's main mission was to protect us. What is he getting for it? Alot of crap by people who dont want to get their hands dirty and complain how much it all costs them.
Both administrations have made mistakes. No one heard anything about Bush trying to shut up ABC. Typical Clinton, worried about image rather than truth!

He didn't won't people to think that he don't do enough to stop Osama but if you research on the planning of 9/11, life of Osama Bin Laden, Al-qaida, and Islamic Fascism(sources, History channel and Geography channel) yuu will think otherwise.
The same people who think that the path to 9/11 was mostly fiction is the ones, must of the time who don't know what the hell they are talking about and don't do their research or even know of the above.
II belive that there was some fiction in the series but the fiction in the series was only use for small dramatic reasons.

He didn't try to censor it. He wanted it to be factual and not a load of fictional pap written by Limbaugh's bud and presented to the American public as being what was written in the 911 comission's report. With a good many Americans seeming to be so uninformed they still believe that Sadaam hit the towers , and that the hijackers were Iraqis, I am afraid a good many would have been unable to distinquish fact from fiction. Hey, I'll bet they'd be the same people who think there are WMD's on Iraq.

not the movie,, the fact that the writer lied about the facts of the 9-11 commission,, Clinton wants the truth to be told about the attacks on American soil in the year 2001,, and for the Republicans to stop obsessing about his sex life in 1998....
