I undertand your point but It did not exist before, what I'm trying to find out is why everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and who started it?

It has always been there, but with the looming potential of giving the illegal immigrants amnesty (yet again!) has really brought out the claws.
I think we either need to deport all illegal immigrants or just throw up our hands and say "enough". Then we don't allow anyone any public programs unless they can prove they are in this country LEGALLY (no welfare, no medical assistance, so on. . .).

This isn't a new concern. Proposition 187 was passed in California 10 years ago.
It has newly spread the damage to the interior of the country, which means federal change is now possible. Border states alone didn't have enough votes.

The illegal aliens and the Bush administration. And you will also find that there is a fine amount of prejudice in every human being about one thing or another. It is a trait of the human race, not just whites, blacks or mexicans

Because the illegal situations is getting out of control. The number of illegal immigrants now out number the number of legal immigrants 3 to 1.

I'm not prejudice but I believe you should live here legally..If you can live here legally then go back..I have to pay my taxes so should everyone else , the legal way..

well , what happened was, simple ... no one liked it, and wanted it to stop ... then the illegals did a march against America, and that made the Americans and the legal immigrants mad . So I ask you who is prejudice ?

Plus ILLEGALS PAY TAXES !!! They pay local, county, and school through their apartment bills like everyone else; and they pay IRS through fake Social Security Cards!!!

i think people who were against it were just more politically correct about voicing their opinion before, and now that the topic came up in congress they're just lashing out everything they kept in for so long.
