I think their parents should reunite with them on the other side of the border.
We are paying for education of too many illegals and their children at the expense of our own children's failing education. Just as to them their children should come first, to us our children should come first. And we are the ones footing the bills.

He's from El Salvador, not Mexico. If you can't figure that out, that merely shows your ignorance and lack of reading skills. I don't think he should be deported. His mom is a legal citizen. He has no one else to care for him. Deporting him would simply break the family apart, but many of you don't care because he's a criminal right?

His mother needs to be deported and she needs to take her child with her.
How irresponsible is she for so badly using her child and then even considering for a moment, not to keep him with her. All illegals should be deported. If they are decent parents at all, they would want to have their family with them. If they leave these children....then the children should put up for adoption.
How unfair for these children to merely be a pawn to advance the cause of the parents.

Jonathan Martinez can apply for citizenship if he wishes to stay in the US. and become a contributing member of our society instead of a leach or parisite. This is a problem for him and his family (parents) not the people of America. It is time for America to become truly united. One country, one language. I do not wish for my tax dollars to be put to the aid of illegals when there are many Americans in need.

i read this article just a few minutes ago, apparently none of your other answerer's have, maybe you should provide a link. i think it is sad that children have to be caught in the middle. i hope little Johnathon gets to stay, especially since his mother is here legally. the states should not send such a young child back with no one to take care of him. if they do i hope his mother is mother enough to go with him.

No, I won't. The parents caused the problem, not the citizens of the US. Deport ALL illegals! No amnesty!

Damn Mexicans ought to be found in fault on two counts one count jumping the boarder illegally and two for traumatising children ( we all know they have more than one, so yes, I said children). Can they not grasp the concept of fixing their own country? I don't understand that!

They can visit together legally anytime is the only way I see the issue. His mom is not a legal citizen. I am afraid you need to read your paper a little more carefully or perhaps you should get some better sources.
