The fact that SUV's have become fashionable is a disgrace. If you're not hauling a boat you don't need a V-8. However, I'd rather die in the US of A then live in Vancouver.

Where I live, most of these monster SUV's have a 5 foot tall woman driving with a cell phone in one hand and noone else in the vehicle. I just do not understand.

Well it is a proven fact that SUV's are safer when it comes down to car collisions. But If you can afford a gas guz'lin SUV more power to ya!!

Because they are trying to overcompensate for something or they feel that their worth is based on materialistic items and SUVs are more expensive than other choices.

People can buy whatever kind of car they, it's none of anyone else business. I think there are far more important issues going on in the world to be worried about then the SUV owner's.

I don't know, somewhere down the line people got this idea that bigger is better...it seems to apply to cars too. I don't like SUVs though.
