Boy, you will be told it's only the illegal ones; you will be told the Mexicans get bashed because they are the most visible; you will be told it's because illegals are all criminals. In my opinion, it's plain and simple a bias that can be demonstrated here under the label of patriotism. License to demonize all Mexicans, legal or illegal. I don't see any other race being bashed, not even the Ahmeds of 9/11 who come here illegally as well.
Gee, I couldn't stop! Sorry, hey what am I getting for Xmas?

I think that is a very ignorant question. I don't think we hate immigrants. Most of us don't like illegal immigrants there is a difference. I know I don't my ancestors are legal immigrants. Its the fact that they come her illegally pop out 20 kids take jobs( jobs by the way would pay more if all the illegals weren't doing them, and bring alot more illegal activity that can not be tracted because we don't have any idea who they are. You only think that we hate Hispanic immigrants more and it may seem that way but that's because there are so many more of them. Not to mention it does get alittle irritating when they don't learn English and we have to learn Spanish.

Should the question be: Why does it seem like a lot of "Native Americans" just hate immigrants all together?

there are many people of color who dislike what is happening as far as illegal immigration is concerned. Are you an immigrant? are you legal? what "color" are you?
Are you Hispanic? Do you understand the terms racist/racism? Do you know what prejudice is ? Do you even care?

Not all of us do! But I have noticed that as well, and I imagine that people always feel most comfortable with people that are the most like they are. That doesn't make it right, but ..you know..people surround themselves with people they understand and culture they understand. I guess that's why people usually marry people of their own color or culture. Even in America --the land of the immigrants. The only solution I can see is more immigrants. The more we know and understand each other the better.

I think being against illegal immigration and hating are getting confused here. Maybe it just seems that way cause alot of Americans are white and alot of illegals are hispanic?

White people are descended from immigrants. We don't hate them. What we dislike is people who have no respect for the law.

We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works." - Alfredo Gutierrez, political consultant, as quoted by Richard de Uriarte, The Phoenix Gazette, March 14, 1992 (quoted in The ProEnglish Advocate, 1st quarter, 2002)

Because, you are possibley a illegal immigrant, and you only think about whats in your best intrest. Your veiw on this subject is warped. Best to just stand back and look at it from our point of veiw.
If you want to live and work in America, then apply and do it the correct way.
