Native americans are always complaining that they are only ones that trully belong here. They blame the misfortunes of there ancestors on us, not our ancestors. I was born here, I am a born citizen here, maybe my ancestors wern't, thats not my problem, I am though. Our ancestors spared them there lives and that wasn't good enough? It could have turned out alot worse for them. Then we wouldn't be hearing them complain would we?

The end of my question might not really be that nice, but it's the truth, our ancestors gave them the choice of going to reservations or to die. And this is the year 2006, if they live on the "rez", its not because they are forced to, its because they choose to.

Ok, I will give you a more in depth definition of what I mean by the native americans complaining in the immigration section. When the americans as the native americans see them, complain about us, complaining about the illegals from mexico. We are Americans, they are illegal alien criminals from Mexico!

I believe what hes trying to say is that he's tired of them complaning about, how we shouldnt complain about the illegal immigrants, the native americans are saying we dont have the right to complain because our ancestors arent from here..so there for we dont have a right to say anthing about the matter..their the only ones who's allowed to say anything about illegal immigration..
Im part native american and part german..my family came here in the mid 1800's. My grandfather married my grandmother who was a cherikee indian. took her off the resorvation and gave her a home with land and cattle. she was happily married to a white man but for the most part my native american family stayed with the native american culture didnt want nothing to do with the white man and their ways..i have heard all of my life what the white man did too their family..Well i look at it this way, this is 2006 and if they dont want to live on a resorvation they dont have to, they choose too,my great grandmother was 100% cherikee indian when she died in the early 1960's,,even then she couldnt believe how the native americans still lived up to them..Yes the resorvations are in terrible condition and something needs to be done about it, but its up to the native americans to make the change..either make it a better place to live or get out..no ones holding a gun to your head and telling you to stay there..
These illegals Immigrants are doing the same thing that the white man did to the indians all them years ago..The are stealing, raping, murdering, taking whats not theirs to take. And if something is not done about it the native americans might even loose what they have now to the illegal immigrants.anyone who is a usa citizen born or other wise, has a legitiment reason to complan about the illegals..so dont tell us we arent allowed to complan about the illegals, because we have every right to complan.anyone who pays taxs are alllowed to complan..

This is the problem...no, it is not nice...yes, it is the truth. Its like the old adage: People hate the truth because the truth hurts. There is nothing that me, you, or anyone can do about what happened to the Native Americans. There is not title I could give them or amount of respect that would make anything different.
Also...for all intensive purposes, I am a Native American...I am native to the US. I was born and raised here. :)

I'm tired of hearing people say only "native" Americans are the true Americans.
Anyone born in the USA or is a naturalized citizen is a true American, not just the so-called 'indian'.
Besides, before America was discovered they were never Americans in the first place. Only the Europeans gave it that name. Who knows what it was called before that.

I am a native born American ,my ancestors came to this country in the early 1700s.They settled this land ,they went thru hardships and death but the persevered and craved out a home. The worked the land ,they raised cattle and thru their hard work and dedication they thrived.I am a native American and so is any one else that was born here, and I'm not going anywhere and I'm not handing my country over to any one My ancestors fought and died for my right to be a native born Americans.
The Indians were not native to this country they came across the Bering Strait from another Continent, they were defeated in war and the spoils of war were this country. As with Mexico no one had to steal anything they also were defeated in a war and the land taken but we also PAID millions of dollars to Mexico for the land.Perhaps its you people that say the land was stolen need to get to know a history book yourselves.

Look, pal. This is their country originally and they have a right to complain. You want a direct answer? I'm NOT tired of hearing native americans complain. They were here first. And our ancestors didn't spare them... the few who escaped the slaughtering and fighting spared themselves.

They got here first via the land bridge. Evidence for the migration is their DNA. The National Geographic Genographic Program has done alot of research on the migrations out of Africa.

I don't think that the complaining is coming from Native Americans, but from illegals trying to spin another web of lies to try to intimidate us.
I am, however, quite tired of that old line...

I don't hear Natives complain and I am married to one. But, if he did, he has a right to more than an illegal trespasser does.

The only REAL complaint I have here is about people like you, complaining about "Native Americans" complaining. Any more complaints? Be real and come on down to the rez with your posse, and you WILL have plenty to complain about.

I am only tired of arrogant people not giving them the respect they deserve. And althought its basically water under the bridge, this is their land that "your" ancestors stole(not to mention, raped & murdered) from their ancestors. Even if we cant change the past, we can still respect it, & them.
Wow!! thats really insightful. Death or move. Thats a choice?
