The operation was called 'Operation Northwoods', it was a plan to generate public support for military action against cuba. The plan were to hijack planes and detonate bombs in USA and Cuba and blame it on Fidel Castro. I admit at the time it was a good idea to get rid of Castro as his regime was violent and brutal. However is it justified for themselves to kill thousands of US citizens? and then blame it on Castro? Just to generate support for what they wanted. Please US citizens tell me how you feel that the people who you voted in and is their job to protect you are planning to kill citizens to make people believe what they want.

I know the plan was scrapped in the end only because kennedy personally rejected it however all the other high ranking officials were all for it. However just think that kennedy was not in charge and that the president gave the go ahead you americans would publicly have supported the war on cuba. And if anyone ever stated that the government commited the terrorism you american citizens would be outraged and just cry on about conspiracy theories. Makes you wonder what the government many be planning now and if you all arent brainwashed.

In retaliation to ouroboris the government done more then talk about it they had officials in NSA investigating how sucessful it might be also they tried to keep it secret until it had to be bought out into the public in 1997. And before you say it was just a stupid idea that was never going to happen i'd like to remind you that it was the senior officials of the department of defense and the highest ranking official in the military that thought of the idea, it was only declined by kennedy. The seniors of the department of defense the poeple meant to be defending you were making plans to kill thousands of citizens. Also what right as USA got to intervene in other countries when they have no connection to USA and isint seen as a terrorist threat.

Yes, I knew about this. The plan for Operation Northwoods was not kept sufficiently secret, and the government had to discard it and make horrified noises just so the public would get the idea that this US government plot to kill Americans was some kind of anomalous freak occurance that could never happen again. The truth is that if the government had found the plan sufficiently advantageous and stealthy, it would have carried it out, the law be damned and the lives of Americans be damned too.
The US government has been like that since the Civil War.
There is no question that the WTC towers were demolished by explosives on 11 Sep 2001. The evidence is overwhelming that the airplane crashes were intended as theater and that the government let it happen, which means that the government had advance knowledge of the demolitions.
And if you think about it, you can see, behind the US government, the sinister figure of International Zionism slinking like a panther in the shadows. Israel wanted the US to attack Iraq to squash a rival for power in the Mideast. The families of Bush and bin Laden knew each other from way back. Fossil fuels are set to decline, starting now, and both Israel and America want a firm hold on Iraq's oil. The two men: Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden were deliberately conflated in the Jewish controlled US media.

For one, it was a plan that was talked about but never implimented because cooler heads prevailed. A lot of goofy ideas have been kicked around various think tanks, but never implimented once they were thought through. Just because they were talked about doesn't mean they actually happened, or that they're relevant in any way.
For another, 1962 is a thing of the past, and it's wrong to try and tie in today's politically hot issues with that ancient history. Just because some members of the government talked about this 44 years ago doesn't mean that any of today's conspiracy theories have any weight.
Most of the people alive and voting today were either too young to vote then (I'm 49 now, but was in pre-school then and quite unaware of the world's politics) or not yet alive in 1962, so it's ignorant to refer to the politicians of 1962 as 'the people who we voted in'.
Welcome to the modern age. Please try to keep up.

When that Democrat Kennedy was running the show? Not surprised.
Consider, though, that Presidents ask their staff to come up with plenty of varying contingency plans, few of which are likely to actually be used by the President. A good President asks for about 6 plans, from weakest to strongest use of diplomacy/force, to achieve the objective, then picks the most preferable. I would not be surprised if that is one of the contingency plans offered to Kennedy.
I would still have to see it to believe it.
This is just another transparent psychological operation against the American People to turn 9/11 into a propaganda weapon against America. Standard enemy psy-ops. Try to drive wedges between The People and those tasked with protecting them.
Clever wolves try to separate weaker animals from the herd so that they can be attacked.

You do realize that the person who came up with it was promptly sacked and disgraced, don't you?
Just another one of those crazy things that the conspiracy nuts want you to believe led to 9/11.

No, they scrapped it, because it wasn't feasible. Besides, no one was supposed to be killed. And the person who suggested it was fired.
Oh, yes, and it was DECLASSIFIED.
