The one bad thing earlier immigrants did do here in America was to treat the First Americans, the Indians, like #&@%. If immigrants now who are here legally want to send their own earned income after taxes back to their families in Mexico, there is nothing wrong with that.

Even if you think they only do a 'little' bad per individual, the cumulative lot of them has drained education funds and ruined schools in areas where they concentrate. Health care is in a similar state. When your children's education, which you pay for, is being ruined by an influx of millions of people whose education you are also paying for, thinking vaguely that 'there are other problems in the world too' is not going to distract your focus.

And many of the illegal immigrants (in comparison to their percentage of the total population) ARE the criminals you are speaking of. Were our immigration laws enforced, those crimes, and more than 9,000 deaths of Americans every year, could be prevented.

I live 40 miles from the mexican border in southern Arizona. Bad things? Good grief there are far too many to even list! It's interesting how you bring up the question of child molesters...let me tell you what the media doesn't like to do: put out the actual statistical evidence of HUNDREDS of so called "immigrants" who, if they are here long enough to check out their true criminal records in Mexico, are hardened criminals in their home country escaping the law by running over the border.
I have also seen with my own eyes the so-called coyotes who strand women and children in the middle of the Sonoran desert with no food, no water, no shelter from the blazing sun here often 110 degrees or more, to die from exposure. Illegal immigration IS a big thing, when you consider were are being silently invaded by MILLIONS of non taxpaying persons who have been taught how to 'beat the system' and get just about anything they want. I know of cases of pregnant Mexicans coming over the border for the express purpose of giving birth on American soil, just so their child will be American by birth! It happens quite ofren down here. Three weeks ago, in MY town, illegals were arrested after a huge pursuit endeing in a rollover of their van which was carrying TWO TONS of marijuana!! Is THAT a bad thing?

As for the boo hoo indian thing of a hundred years ago, heres some info: Indian tribes were warring against each other for centuries before the euopeans ever came ashore. They stole each others women, took slaves, viciously tortured their enemies, and commited total annihilation of villiages in order to secure their resources.
It has been said: "to the victors belong the spoils" The euopeans had better tactics, better weapons, and the sheer determination to carry out battles to win. Treaties were broken on BOTH sides by the way, and indians massecrerd whites and hideously disfigured their corpses so they couldn't enter the "spirit world". The 'new hollywood liberal storytellers would have every american think they should be guilty for what happened a century ago. It's a fantasy! The American indians were anything but peace loving pipe smoking people who just wanted to befriend the 'white eyes' with nothing but good intentions. Raids to steal weapons, horses, and anything else they could of the technology available for the stealing they did with alarming frequency until the U.S. Calvery was finally sent to put a stop to it, which inevitably resulted in the "Indian Wars" we read about in biased history books, written by modern day apologists who want to re-write every event in our history to make American settlers look like criminals, and the 'Tribes" the hapless victims of circumstance.

1.THEY'VE RUN UP BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN UNPAID MEDICAL BILLS (part of the COST gets eaten by the hospital and doctors. The REST is passed on to consumers(taxpayers)

1. I'm paying for their health care, which they get for free, with my state taxes.
2. Car theft, robberies, murder, rape.
3. They don't pay taxes when they do manage to get a job.

Immigrants have done wonderful things in this country. We all decended from immigrants and there are thousands of legals doing wonderful things here.

But, when they sneak across our borders and enter illegally--then say, "F#@#-You America, I have no respect for your laws and I am entitled to every social program you have to offer..." (or I am here to kill as many of you as I can).... well, that's where I have a problem.
