it looks like a line if you tilt it away from the light but if you hold it up to the sunlight its not there what does this mean is it a positive or an evap line?

If there is a line or broken line, you are pregnant. False positives are very unlikely. The test is searching for a hormone that appears quite high in a pregnant woman. Low amount of hormone means not pregnant or haven't been pregnant long enough to produce the correct levels (need to miss a period).

A very faint line is a positive result, wait a few days and do another test to be sure... I've done so many pregnancy tests nothing fazes me anymore, I've had false positives and false negatives... it's crazy, the best way is to go to a doctor and have the blood test done! That's the most accurate test you can get!

If you saw the shadow line within the time frame, I would say its a faulty test. If that line was there after the time frame (usually 3 minutes or so) I would think it was an evaporation line.

Definately get another test but maybe wait a few days. Its possible the hormone isn't very strong yet. I have four kids and a few tests were questionable. Try to do the test first thing in the morning before you pee. :) good luck whatever happens!

Evaporation/ghost line. If you're concerned, take one in a few days to verify. The line will have color if it's positive, no matter how light it is. For all intents and purposes, its a neg. test.

try a new test and use first urine of the morning. You might not be far enough along yet. I did this and my second test was positive. Good luck, If that's what you want.

This happened to me i took another one and it happen again, i had to go to the docter and do it and it happened again, but they said i was PREGNANT. And guess what they were right.
It is so light because the hormone in your body that builds up for the test to detect isnt build up real high yet.
Try to take another one if this happens again i would bet you are preg.

I'm not sure since I've never taken a pregnancy test. What you should do is get a different brand of testing kit.
