I think you voice an important concern. The new electronic machines are riddled with problems. The scariest is that they can be programed to count one vote for another. No effort has been made by our government to remedy this problem. The other big problem is that in some states a paper trail is not required.
These two problems put together, can spell disaster for fair and impartial elections.
I think you have the best solution. VOTE ABSENTEE ! VOTE ABSENTEE ! VOTE ABSENTEE !
And then Pray that the ABSENTEE ballots are from ligitimate voters when counted.

Most people like to vote in person, so even with unreliable voting machines... I think the majority will still go in person to vote.
Hopefully, most locations will have a way of doing recounts this time.

The ONLY possible shot at a real election is to remove the electronic voting booth. It is far too easy to cheat electronically. I wonder though, would our government lie to us? <<<< EXTREME SARCASM

I think the individual ballots is best. Count them all. They should ALL count.

what do you mean fair? As long as the damnocrats don't try to disqualify the military (overseas) votes, everything will be fine. Hopefully the people in Fla and Ohio will know how to use the computers and we won't have to hear them cry and whine again this year!!!!!

If the Republicans win.....the demos & the lib press will blame it on the counting. If the dems win they'll be doing raspberries & victory dances.

Not with the Republicans in charge with Deibold. They have already proved that they can't be trusted.
