The nation has been forced by 9-11 to improve security and communication between law enforcement agencies.
I hear a small town in Alaska got millions of bucks to improve its anti terror squad.
Bush has done nothing himself.

Almost everything.
He presided over the organisation that ran 9/11, he started the War OF terror, in fact he has succeeded in terrorising most of the world's citizens, he is Commander-in-Chief of the secret services who plant bombs in Iraqi cars and the say they are suicide bombers, and he is part of the plan for the next terror event later this year.
What more could a man do?

my opinion absolutely nothing. but he is doing a great deal to gain power of the oil in iraq. war on terror is a very good cover for this, I mean really are these terrorist head honchos hiding in the oil well pipes. Guess the government would say they would if they had to.

According to those covering the Iraq war, the theme..
"we're fighting them here, so we don't have to do it on our home ground"
...is 100% PURE BUNK.
It's a line that Bush and his band of merry-men spew to make Faux-viewing idiots feel fat, dumb, and happy.
Bush is the worst president our nation has ever had -- bar none.

Greatly encouraged it by invading Irak where Saddam was an enemy of Al Kaida, and terrorists now flourish in the power vacuum.

read this. this is what the professor from brigham young university was suspended for. read it yourself and judge its legitimacy. this offers what the right hates the most: true intelligence.
the towers were not designed to go down in a controlled fashion as that even requires the metals to reach at temperatures unreachable with diesel fuels. no gas tanks were found to be near where jetliners hit. read the paper.

As far as I can see, nothing but fuel it! This is man who probably holds more power in his hands than any other man on the earth, but he can do nothing with it! HE does not have half a brain!!!! But that is just my opinion...
