I've religiously submitted an application for the annual Green Card Lottery, for the USA, over the last 8 years or so.
I don't know any winners of this. Do you?!

It's real, all right. I'm a consular officer and I issue DV immigrant visas often.
Make sure, when you enter, that you use the official .gov site. Many of the commercial sites that claim to help, actually do nothing except take your money. I've issued a couple of hundred of these visas, and not a single one of all those entries went through any .com or .org company.

It sure is. I know three people who won visas this way. 1 Finnish, 1 Japanese, 1 Mexican

depends on what country you are applying frombut yes it is real..........but remember that ANYONE else pretty much is ahead of you in the queue for green cards [and that STILL take ages]

you will *in basic terms* receive any notification of the DV Lottery via your popular mail. you will *no longer* get e-mails saying you have win, and the single you gained is fraudulent.

It's real but only applies to certain countries!!
