I hope so. 9/11's anniversary is a very important day. It is the anniversary of the day that some terrible people claimed thousands of beautiful peoples life's. I think it should be named National Firefighter's Day. Many of firefighters helped to save others lifes and lost their own in the process. They are brave and very special people who help others everyday and deserve to be recognized. Please type in your name and the word "yes". Example:
1. Christine Bradley: Yes

Adding a temporary 9/11 category wouldn't be a bad idea.

Doubtful. How can liberals have a tribute when they still have the 9/10 mentality?

Why would they.? I would imagine they are as tired of hearing about 9/11 as just about everyone else is in this country after being beaten over the head with a constant reminder of what happened on 9/11 FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS.

My wife died on Sept. 19 of that year and was not linked to 9/11, It was MY personal tragedy and I have learned to live with it and to get on with my life. I am sorry for the loss those people had, but FIVE YEARS of constantly having to hear about their personal tragedy IS ENOUGH... They need to get over it and get one with their lives... just like the rest of us who lost a loved one about the same time.

The East Coast Media doesn't seem to understand that not EVERYONE had someone lost in the World Trade Center and that is a LOCAL and an East Coast Tragedy that really didn't effect the rest of the country, other than to be bored to death about it as the East Coast news media beat us over the head with it, day after day and month after month and year after year.

I hope so I am an American soldier and have had friends die during the War on Terrorism. I think that they should people died and people need to remember what happened to those innocent people on that day that made us realize that we are not untouchable.

It's not that kind of site. There will be a surfeit of tributes elsewhere.
