I sorry you feel this way. It is my personal experiance that there are hypocites everywhere. (Ex. People who pretend to be your friends, but in reality are just using you)... how about that hypocracy, it is commonplace everywhere you look. As for speaking out against christianity... shucks, that has become a favorite American past time. Christian Bashing is every where, they are the only people group that is recognized as politically correct for bashing. The answer to this is because those who are true believers refuse to accept immoral behavior as normal, even when leberal's try to jam them down the throats of the American people.
I have been a Christian for many years, and for a brief period of time I was hurt by some members of a certain christian community, so I turned away and found myself out in the wild world of immoral behavior again and almost lost my mind to depression and financial ruin, because of an unwanted divorce. It was Christians who I barely knew that once again showed me what the love of Christ was like. They were the ones who prayed for me and showed me that they genuinely cared. Oh they weren't all perfect, by any means, but they had pure motives and nothing to gain by helping me. Today, my life is good, not perfect but certainly better than it has ever been. Everyday I am thankful and I look for oportunities to help people. I hope someday that you look past your biased anti-christian prejuduce and reach out to some of those who care for you, so you can find the ture love you need... I know now that none of it was an accident or coincidence, but that God was leading me into a better place through his mercy and grace. It has been an amazing journey and I look forward to the future.

Jesus was the first to challenge the self righteous religious crowd. His disciples continued to use stern language to correct the believers when they became self righteous or legalistic. I often think the vast majority of Christians need a good swift kick to the seat of their pants. They have gotten into a crusader mentality trying to change the world according to their standards of good. Christ himself nor any of his chosen disciples ever gave the command to attempt to change the world. They simply instructed others to present the good news about the savior and allow people to decide for themselves. They also taught to live and let live. Modern Christendom is as far from these principles as Communism is from free market capitalism. They spend hours in other's business instead of hours in the word of God. Don't think that atheists and deists are the only people who recognize the problem facing Christianity's hypocrites.

I'm an agnostic. Some vocal religious individuals are all for show, others truly feel they should obey their interpretation of the Bible. The Constitution No more backs their view of the world than the atheist view, nor should it. If God is taken out of everything then the courts have decided the atheist view is backed by the constitution.
The US gives more freedom of Religious expression than any other place on this planet.

Many do, i'm specific. yet there is little evidence the fringe wackaloon fundamentalists have ever study it or understood the message. those varieties look as though they have been spoon fed cherry-picked verses to slot their political end even although they are going to inform you they take each be conscious actually. there's a acceptance for that... hypocrisy. i've got reported in the previous besides the fact that it bears repeating, if the Bible Jesus walked the Earth in the present day he'd evaluate the fundamentalist in an identical mild as he observed the Pharisees. I desire the Thomas Jefferson edit of the Bible. all of the ethical message with out all of the woo and much less of the indoors contradiction.

Get out of here! The Christians have been trampled for a good, long while now. Christians are people no different than anyone else. They have shortcomings, make mistakes, and are hypocritical. Probably just like you.
The difference would be they try to live by a moral code that strives to be a good person. Do you actually have a problem with someone whose motto is Treat other people the way you would want to be treated, don't murder, don't lie, etc...

You are the exact same person who will bash someone for making blanket statements about Islam, blacks, the French, etc. and then do the same thing to the christians. So, who is the hypocrite?

Maybe you should vote?
Also, do you have a point about anything of substance? You really have nothing to say, except Christians are hypocrits. Do you have anything to back up your big talk?

Christians are no more hypocritical than non Christians. Now do you want to ask a real question, or just bash people for their religious beliefs.
Don't be a bigot, it's a very ugly thing to be.

No. Christians have forgiveness and don't need to kill you if you won't convert. Maybe you would prefer to live under islamic law.

I do, but I think all other religions also need the same thing.
The root of all evil is people who are worried about what happens after they died.
