Why is ABC-Disney trying to blame President Clinton for 9-11?

President Clinton had been out of office 9 months when it happened. Bush broke up President Clinton's intelligence team that had successfully broken up 3 big terror plots. He got an intelligence report forecasting attacks like what happened on 9-11 then went on vacation for a month. The "press" has never even asked him if he even read the report, let alone acted on it. So why is the media trying to blame President Clinton, just before the upcoming election? Is it corrupt? Should Disney have their broadcasting licenses revoked because of committing fraud? Fraud remains a crime, don't you think giant media corporations that deliberately mislead and lie should have their licenses revoked? No vacations at Disneyland, ever again.

The charge that President Clinton did nothing to prevent 9-11 is stupid. He was not president then. The responsibility for stopping it was Mr. Bush's. Bush should not have broken up Clinton's anti-terrorist taskforce--it broke up 3 big plots in the '90's. Bush got the report "Al Qaeda Determined To Strike Inside US" on Aug. 5, 2001, then went on vacation for a month, the month before 9-11. Did he even bother to read that report? It hypothesized crashing jets into Manhattan skyscrapers. Maybe he just missed that part. Get it straight rightists, your guy screwed up, it was your president's fault, and quit trying to blame competent people for your guy's mistakes. Google Professor Tsurumi, he was Bush's econ prof in college, in an interview he said Bush never did any work, failed, and when he did he always blamed others around him. Sound familiar? Face it, your guy is an incompetent and you were fools for ever supporting him, so you are more responsible for 9-11 than Clinton was

Do you really believe that crap that you just spouted? Do you not remember the FIRST WTC ATTACKS in 93. After Clinton took office? How about the Rangers attacked in Somlia? Yes Bin Laden had a hand in that too. How about the Khobar towers in Saudi Arabia? Or the Embassy bombings in Africa? What about the USS Cole? Were you just asleep during the 90's during all of those attacks? All of these were under Clintons watch...ALL OF THEM. Did he ever respond to any of them? Well I'll give you that he did send in a few cruise missles. You remember, THE ONES THAT TOOK OUT AN ASPIRIN FACTORY! Son I don't know what kind of kool-aid you been drinkin' but you better open your eyes to the truth. Yes Bush should have been more prepared for 9-11, but it may not have happened if Clinton would have served his country and used the military that he had at his disposal to protect it , like the oath he took said.

Have you ever read the "report" that was given to President Bush? All it was, was a rehash of things bin Ladin had done. NOWHERE in it did it say when or where the next attack would be, or HOW it was to be accomplished. It did not "forecast" anything.

and think about it. I just barely skimmed the surface, in my comments. But if you study history, every single event in the history of our nation ties into where we are now.
So, it IS Clinton's fault, and Bush 41, Reagan, Carter, Nixon, Ford, Johnson, JFK, Eisenhower, Truman, FDR, Hoover, Coolidge, and Harding can all be blamed as well.

Just read all the answers to this question and you'll see exactly what this film is trying to promote. The republicans are taking it as fact--just look at all of them saying "it's true!". This is just another John Kerry Swift Boat type attack from the slimey right. They are losing their constituents by the thousands and they think this pack of lies they are labeling "fiction" will bring them back. I think the ones who have came over to the Democratic party are smart enough to see through this. I don't understand how anyone can take this as anything other than a deliberate attempt to place blame where it doesn't belong in hopes of retaining control of the government. I, for one, will no longer support Disney in any way, no products, no films from them, nothing. Just like I haven't shopped at Walmart since I found out how generous their donations are to the republican party. My hard earned dollars will not go into the pockets of the party that has ruined this country.

News Flash, Sparkie...9/11 happened on September 11. This is the 5 year anniversary. When do you think would be a good time for a docudrama on 9/11...December 11th? Sorry, if the elections get in the way, but history has a way of doing that.

The movie is about the events that led up to 9/11. Those events started in the early 90s. Sorry, but Bush was wasn't president then. What do you want the moviemakers to do, change historical facts and put the Libertarian Party in the White House just to protect Clinton. There is plenty of blame to go around. Bush isn't exonerated, but neither is Clinton.

And let's face it...ABC has NEVER been known as a Right leaning organization...far from it. So just maybe they think it is a good move with a story that needs to be told.

I think that the propaganda piece, "Path to 9/11" should be shown in it's entirety AFTER the November elections. It is obvious that this cheesy manipulated pile of crap was created and funded by the the right-wing to sway the electorate (not all that sophisticated to begin with) to vote for candidates who support the Bush regime's rape of America. That ABC would participate in such a sham seems to indicate that they have either been intimidated or infiltrated by the fascist elements trying to totally control America for their own benefit.

Check out "crooksandliars.com" and watch the news videos. This isn't a mistake. It was well calculated and slanderous propaganda. It should bother every citizen no matter what your political bent is. Disney and ABC were caught re-handed changing the facts and yet people still think this is a baseball game about two opposing teams. Pull your heads out of your a** or just put a swastika on your arm and start goose-stepping.

It's not Bush's fault. Clinton is partly to blame since the WTC was bombed by Muslim terrorists in the early 1990's. There were many other attacks by Muslim/Middle East terrorists during Clinton's 8 years and he did barely anything except shoot a missile into Lebanon. Remember the USS Cole?

Clinton wouldn't even require the UN to do anything including enforcing Saddam Hussein to stick to the UN peace negotiations from the first Gulf War. We promised not to attack Saddam and Baghdad if he would allow UN weapon inspectors. He agreed to it and then would screw with Hans Blicks' attempts to inspect.

Get a Life...Clinton and the Bush administration are not to blame for everything. If you watched that show, it was evident that the bureaucracies in government which were unorganized and would not share information, were the main causes.
