i currently eat a bowl of corn flakes everyday. would it be better to substitute it with wheat flakes if i want to loose weight

Which ever one you like better... just watch your serving size. Switching to wheat flakes wont help you lose weight if your consuming the same number of calories. Both are low in sugar, wheat flakes have more fiber, but really it wont make a huge difference in your weight if you switch between cereals with similar calorie contents.

Wheat flakes I believe. The more fiber the better because a lot of the sugar and carbs that are counted are not absorbed. It is binded to the fiber. Good Luck

I think there is now a cereal called Oat Flakes some people say avoid wheat altogether (I am going to try it when it comes into my local supermarket)

you should probably avoid excess carbohydrates, including cereals. however, if you really want cereals, choose ones that are high in fiber, like whole grain cereals.
