My wife had an inflamed raised cyst on her shoulder about 6 months ago. It was painful and seemed to be septic. The Doctor put her on a course of antibiotics, which cured it. Now the cyst is starting to get painful and slightly inflamed and raised again. Is there any treatment, even herbal for it?

I've suffered with recurrent cysts as a result of systemic (whole bodied) MRSA infection. Every time one came up I had anti b's and I asked if anything would stop them and answer was no. Recurrent cysts could be due to a weak immune system, diabetes, low leval infections or any number of things. If she feels that it is recurrent then it might be worth visiting gp to see if he will swab her to check for infections, and check for other underlying things.

You could try some of the advice in Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine about building immunity and health in the first part of the book.
The cyst may have to be treated again if the infection has come back.
Good Luck!

Quite probably.
A relatively new peer reviewed science, thousands of scientific papers being written on it, and it seems to work.
