A small government that limits its interests does not need limitless sources of funding. To date the two major political parties have failed to either live up to the constitution or act as responsible stewards of the taxpayer's money.

If the government is to provide any service at all, they need to get the money from somewhere. If not income tax, then what? A Federal Sales Tax? A novel idea, but how would you be able to deduct for expences that are non-taxable. When you consider how much money the federal government needs to keep the level of services as they are, my -guess- would be you would need a 40% federal sales tax. Who would buy a car then? Let alone groceries.
First we need to do what the GOP has "claimed" they wanted for generations. A smaller government. Problem is that the only president who has actually gotten spending under control, and produced a surplus in the past century was -=GASP=- the super evil Bill Clinton.
Imagine that.

Because they know the income tax is unnecessary. People need to learn what money is and isn't. What a "debt-based" economy really is. What does a "federal reserve note" represent and what happens when one uses it to make payment. Maybe one in a thousand people know what I'm talking about and that is how the gov wants it!!
