Harry S Truman coined the phrase: "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." I am a democrat and I served in Vietnam as a Marine. It galls me to no end that a coke snorting, pot smoking, drunk, ne'er-do-well rich man's son should be our president. I put my life on the line to serve my country. Bush Jr. never showed up for his Alabama guard duties. Why do you super patriots(most of whom have never served) so staunchly defend him? Good men and women are dying on a daily basis because of the mistakes he and his cohorts have made. Iraq was a preemptive strike. Are you still blaming Clinton? A real man would accept blame. Bush does not.

Of course, they'll have to stop blaming Bush once it's gotten them what they want--control of the government. After that, it will be only they who are to blame, and far be it for the Dems to accept blame for anything. They're far to good at Doublethink. They practice it now almost as if Aldous Huxley was writing their talking points. Bush has allowed himself to become the target of these broadsides which is unfortunate but seemingly hard to avoid when the issue is group lies. Though the Democrats can't wait, George Bush will be out of office soon enough. Only then will we see what the Dems have up their sleeves and what they can offer the country after years of prosperity, relative peace at home and containment of terrorism abroad. Good luck.

I still find them offering a lot more than Republicans. And by the way, look at the posts here, 6 years after Clinton left and Repubs are still blaming Clinton for everything wrong with the country.

let me ask you this - do we remember that the democrats supported the war in iraq in the first place? do we remember that the democrats supported invading Afghanistan too? when everything went to hell after 911, everyone was blinded by Pres Bush's rhetoric. How pathetic. As soon as we heard that we were going to go into Iraq, I shuddered. I said that we will be there forever. Do you know that we have been in iraq now longer than we fought in WW II?

Oh, by the way, I consider myself a Democrat.

Since they have no constructive suggestions on the issues and no leader with any brains, what else do they have? Give them credit though, they may weasel their way into the white house and gain control of the senate and/or house with this strategy. I gave the American people more brains than for them to allow that to happen but it may turn out to be this mass onslaught of innuendos, untruths and half truths are taking their toll and amounts to mass brainwashing that's working.

Will the Republicans ever offer something other than "it's Clinton's fault"?

That's SO much worse.....

I wouldn't hold my breath. This is their war cry. The level of hate for Mr. Bush seems to be all consuming. It staggers me that so many people allow there life to be dominated by absolute hate. I have tried to discuss issues with diehard liberals on the factual merits, but it seems to be impossible. They are locked into ideology that no matter what the president does he is evil, and nothing else matters.

Ummm....did anyone even mention Clinton. You need to listen to some celebrities so that they can tell you what you are supposed to think this week.
