Only the top 5% have benifited in the USA, the standard of living keeps falling. Economist report this fact but it doesn't seem to get out in the news.Poverty is up and the average person is going down down down, check the facts. and please no squirrels getting on here and saying its not true with no research in hand.

The proof is in the economic studies that have come out, which there are several to choose from, try researching it and you will find out. Also we are talking average, yes some of you have come up but the average is down.

that is true, also in canada and latin america the level has dropped, the only people who see free trade as good are those who are becoming enormously rich with them, and that are less than 1% of the global population.

Your statement is not true, and I'm not a squirrel. You can't just make up things and claim them to be true; the standard of living in the US is now, and has been, going UP, not down.

My personal income has increased by $5,000 in the last 7 years, and the industry I work in has nothing to do with foreign trade. Where are your facts ??

Well I dont see that in my personal experience, but I dont know I havent researched it.

I keep movin on up, but I work hard for it too.

Please cite your statistics and the baseline for comparing standard of living. Otherwise, that isn't a question. It's a statement of opinion.

If its bad news, its in the press. That is how they make money.
