When in US history has a presidential administration had a majority in both the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate at the same time. When in US history has the same political party controlled both the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate at the same time without the Presidency. What legislation was passed into law during these time periods, that any opposition to would have been fruitless.

Well, since 2001 all three were Republican, and from 1993 - 1994 and 1977-1980 and from 1961-1968, all three were Democratic. From 1953-1954 all three were Republican, and from 1949-1950 all three were Democratic. From 1933 to 1946 all three were Democratic, and from 1921 to 1930 all three were Republican. From 1913 to 1916, all three were Democratic, and from 1897 to 1910 all three were Republican. From 1893 to 1894 all three were Democratic. From 1867 to 1874 all three were Republican.

Well, there's right now, but America has had periods of single-party dominance before. It happened under FDR's New Deal, in the Republican 1920s and in the early 19th-century "Era of Good Feeling."
