I seem to be one of only a few serious answers to this question.
But... no, they won't, I think. Clinton's approval rating actually increased as a result of the impeachment proceedings, and I think Democrats will take that to heart. Perhaps the two situations aren't parallel (I certainly think they aren't), but I'm pretty sure the Democratic party is more interested in trying to get the country back on a track it agrees with than in being vindictive toward Bush.
You can bet, though, that there will be investigatory committees in congress, and perhaps they'll curtail some of the semi-legal activities pursued by the executive branch.

nicely--you advance a competent factor. notwithstanding, there is yet in a distinctive way of finding at this (and, BTW, i do no longer choose impeachment, besides the undeniable fact that i think of Bush and Cheney the two deserve it). First--distinctive human beings are venting--and in case you will spend time on Y/A politics or any comparable talk board, extra effective get used to it! :) extra to the factor--do no longer assume it could harm the Democrats politically. Polls instruct 40 5% of the yankee human beings do choose impeaching Bush--the determine for Cheney is even larger. 2 issues could ought to happen, notwithstanding. First, there could must be some relatively sparkling-decrease adventure-say, an instant hyperlink between warrentless spying on human beings that traced directly to Bush. that's totally accessible. yet you may additionally ought to have a extra or much less finished collabse of the republican coalition interior the Senate--and on an identical time as that coalition is going to furnish way quicker or in a while the Iraq difficulty, i do no longer see it growing to be so huge that a 2/3 vote must be accomplished--and it could be pointless to question and not using a gamble of conviction. you in addition to mght stated that "the Democrats have supported each thing Bush has finished at one time or yet another." Sorry--this is basically faulty--and that they've in no way supported the knds of movements Bush has taken that factor to accessible impeacheable offenses--e.g. using warrentless/no-court docket reviewed surveillance).

I think it's really sad that there are so many delusional people that don't think willful violation of federal law is an impeachable offsense.
I just can't imagine how anyone can be that closed minded and irrational, especially when Bush admits to the violations and federal courts up through the Supreme Court confirm the violations. It's like trying to deny gravity, because you don't like it.
As to your question, Congress isn't going to do anything that hurts their popular image. The laws don't matter any more.

NO: Don't you think if they had a case they would have Allready tried. You can't Impeach someone based simply on HATE. You need facts and evidence which they have Neither. Don't think all those Dems and the ACLU haven't looked this over up down and every other way for someway to Impeach. It's Not gonna happen.

Absolutely not. It would only embarrass them further than they have already embarrassed themselves.
All of their rhetoric wouldn't stand up for a moment under an impeachment proceeding. Most of the nonsense they spew forth has no validity whatsoever - and they damn sure don't want it to be exposed for what it is.

I don't think they have the heart for it.
But I still can't wait to see Bush dance for his new masters after November.

They pound their tiny chests with all the dreams. But, finally, no. And they'll have to blame some vast right-wing conspiracy as being able to stop them.
