Hanging chad is a punch section on a voting card that is not punched all the way through. It was invented by Al Gore to try and steal the Florida election, there was also the pregnant chad (just a bump and no hole). The voter cards were counted and recounted by every liberal news agency in America and every time Gore LOST.

Chad began as a collective noun, like chaff and wheat. An individual punching from paper or cardstock is a piece of chad, as with a grain of wheat or a flake of chaff. Only in the context of Votomatic voting devices has CHAD come to be used as a singular noun, with the plural form CHADS. Historical usage within IBM appears to have favored CHIPS as the term for punchings for punched cards, but it seems that paper-tape machines, particularly teletypes, have had chad boxes (to catch the chad under the paper tape punch mechanism) for years, although in the 1920's, the term used in that domain was punchings. By the 1960's, the term chad was widely used to describe the chips from keypunches, and every keypunch had a chad box.

Hanging chad is something that happens when you try to put more that 1 ballot in the machine and try to vote .
In other words hanging chad is caused by election fraud , that's right put 3 more ballots down and the last one wont push all the way through creating hanging or sometime called dimpled chad

The term came up when Bush cromies rejected votes in Florida because of defective voting machines. A hanging chad was part of a punched out voteing card that had not been fully punched out so part of the paper was still attached..How come you ignorant fascists are so dumb?
